A great step foreward in blood glucose meters, December 12, 2005
　

This is an excellent meter. It is very reliable and accurate. It is about time that meter companies realized that some diabetics like to see their data electronically. I was awful at keeping a proper log book. This device has done it for me and allowed me to gain better control. I took one star away because despite the fact that this is 2005 the software and the USB interface cable and driver were not designed for simple download and use for every user. if you have other sync type software (such as for a palm or blackberry device)the sync will not happen without a great deal of preference setting in multiple programs. Once this is figured out, however, everything is great.

Of all the meters I have used this one is the most reliable. It has fabulous tracking features even for those on an insulin pump. You can track blood sugars, carbohydrate intake, medication (including insulin), illness, stress, and exercise. It has a button to illuminate the screen and gives fast results.
